Logan’s very own festival, Chillogan Chilli Festival, takes place again for the fourth year on Sunday 20th November 2022 at Logan Village Green.
“I love putting on this festival. I love the energy that Logan people bring to the event – it’s by far the best community in terms of appreciating the event,” said Scarlett Habanero, the CEO of My Chilli Festival, a boutique festival management business based in Brisbane.
The Logan Village Green has had significant funding for upgrading of drainage works, an amazing new kids’ playground and a new skatepark.
“I’m so excited about using this beautiful venue – it’s got everything you could want and it’s right next door to the Historical Museum which is full of interesting stuff,” said Habanero.
The festival will start at 11am and finish at 7pm with a jam-packed program of chilli-challenges sure to entertain everyone on stage.
As usual, Hellfire Alley will be the place to try some new chilli goodies, and take home a bag of spicy goodness.
“We have some wonderful Queensland-based chilli providores coming along. These are not products you’ll find in supermarkets. These are family-owned businesses with a passion for creating boutique products,” said Habanero.
Of course, no chilli festival run by My Chilli Festival is complete without the AfterBurn Bar – where you can try some chilli cocktails, chilli beer and even chilli sangria this year.
Food vendors will be serving some tasty spicy treats as well as food for the not so brave.
