Event organisers have faced trying times since Covid-19 reared its ugly head in February 2020.
Since then, there have been countless cancellations, reschedulings and all sorts of damage to festival brands.
Like many other festivals, Briz Chilli Fest was cancelled in 2020 and 2021, but we are so grateful to be back and rebranded to a Halloween-themed event in 2022.
Festivals are costly to produce and sponsors are so very important to event organiser’s budgets and ability to bring ideas to fruition for patrons to enjoy.
Organisers of Briz Chilli Fest Halloween 2022 are pleased to announce that Brisbane City Council has again chosen to support the event with financial sponsorship.
This proves to us that what we do has value to the greater Brisbane community, the arts, and the creative industries.
Brisbane City Council receives numerous applications for event sponsorship throughout the year and we are proud to have been chosen for this valuable support in 2022.
At a local level, Moorooka Ward Councillor, Steve Griffiths, has funded the Rocklea-based artist who will assist with decorating the Kids’ Spooky Space for our young visitors to enjoy on festival day. We extend a special thanks to Steve and his wonderful team in Moorooka Ward.
