For the bravehearts, a choice of SIX chilli challenges across two days will set the stage on fire – $100 prizemoney, trophy, chilli goodies and the glory of holding the chilli sceptre, and wearing the crown and cape.

SATURDAY CHALLENGES

Challenge 1: Napalm Noodles :  Hedrika Kwan is cooking up Gluten-Free and Vegan-Friendly noodle nastiness for the day !

Challenge 2: Volcanic Wings –  Yes you know it!  Deliciously super-charged wings, by Bare Knuckles Low Slow BBQ of Salisbury, become a contestant’s  worst Wing Nightmare

Challenge 3: Fiery Pods –  Work through a series of fresh chilli fruit pods and eries and finish up with  chilli extract – the last man/woman standing crowned the winner

Fun Challenge :  Screaming Donuts – a fun challenge with chilli-laced donuts suspended in front of contestants who must vie to be the first to consume two of them.  No Cash Prize but you’ll win a Sugar Rush Donuts Prize Pack.   The first 10 contestants to the stage  at the designated time can enter. 

SUNDAY CHALLENGES 

Challenge 1:  Mallory’s Flaming Jerky  – Some super-hot jerky will be specially created by Mallory for this jaw-testing challenge

Challenge 2:  Diabolical Dogs Challenge – a super-charged chilli sausage topped with Kick-Ass Chilli’s Reaper Sauce in a hotdog bun – Gluten-Free upon request when registering.

Challenge 3: Fiery Pods  – Work through a series of fresh chilli fruit pods and eries and finish up with  chilli extract – the last man/woman standing crowned the winner

Lisa of Saucy Wench Gourmet Foods will be firing up the cooker in the Spicy Kitchen in the Garden Room on Sunday in her inimitable saucy style.

Be sure to sample some of Lisa’s scrumptious fresh cooked dumplings throughout the festival.

Kids can enjoy FREE craft and story-telling in the Kids Zone with Sophie

(Children 8 years and under must be accompanied by a guardian.)

Paid activities include the animal nursery (Sunday only), and face-painting with Paints & Giggles*

KIDS ICE-CREAM & SNAKES CHALLENGE

On Sunday, we’ll have a fun challenge at the stage for two groups of 10 kids!

Be the first to finish a bowl of  ice-cream and jelly snakes, with hands tied behind their back to win…….MORE ICE-CREAM!

Great live music is always peppered in between the chilli challenges on stage. Once again, we have the guitar maestro, Sean Mullen, gracing our stage to perform his Blutopia show.

Crowd favourite, Mojo Webb, will again join us for a session each day.

 Missy Vader and the Dark Force will pump out some hot rock tunes as well.

Relax in the beer hall and enjoy a special batch of Chilli Beer and a selection of craft beer or grab a quick bevvy at the outdoor Can Bar.

Our Outdoor Cocktail Bar bar will serve up some chilli  and regular cocktails.
