Briz Chilli Fest rebrands to Queensland Superhot and doubles the fun!

Date Published: 04/09/2025

This November 1st and 2nd will mark the birth of Queensland Superhot Chilli Festival, to take place in the grounds adjacent to Ballistic Brewing at Salisbury.

Briz Chilli Fest was launched in 2018 and since then has gathered a loyal following amongst chilli heads.

The rebrand to Queensland Superhot aligns with the new Sydney Superhot brand which launched successfuly on May 18th, 2025 at the Entertainment Quarter, Moore Park in Sydney.

All the usual fun of Scarlett Habanero’s professionally-run chilli festivals will be doubled and patrons can attend for one or both days (discounted).

To celebrate the new branding, there will be a Fiery Fiesta Afterparty in the Ballistic Brewhouse, featuring the talents of Eddie Gazani and his band.

Early Bird tickets are now on sale, until 1st October, 2025, for some great deals on combo tickets too.

As usual there’s a line-up of Helfire Alley vendors showcasing their tasty and spicy wares for you to try before you buy.

This is a pet-friendly event so dress up your furry pal and enter the Chilli Dog Competeition for some prizes.

Humans can get into the spicy spirit too, and win prizes for their costumes.

If you fancy yourself a cook, then enter your spicy creation into the Homemade Heat Competition, announced on the day and awarding prizes also.

There’s so much more to tell you, so head over to the website and don’t forget to hop in for an Early Bird ticket bargain.
