My Chilli Festival, Australia’s largest chilli festival organiser, has announced the date for the 2022 Ipswich Chilli Festival.
Saturday 10th September, 2022, is the date that Ipswich Showgrounds will once again heat up, but this time the event will be “stand-alone” and will take place in the front market area of the historic showgrounds precinct.
“Ipswich is a great place to host one of our festivals, and we love working with the Showgrounds who are always keen to support new events, “ said organiser, Scarlett Habanero.
“Last year was our first event and due to the extreme weather forecast, we had to go undercover in the Event Centre and amalgamate with the Night Markets, but this year we’re hoping the weather will be kinder and we’ll be out under the beautiful fairy lights and fig trees,” said Habanero.
