Chillogan Chilli Festival
Our 2022 event was a little quieter thanks to some rain and storm forecasts for the day which ended up not affecting our location at all.
It was a 33 degree hot and sunny day at Logan Village Green, and those who took a chance on attending, were rewarded with a range of activities to enjoy all day.
The first 500 lucky patrons got their free chilli plant and will soon be enjoying their own chilli fruit, thanks to Infusions Chilli Farms.
Thanks to our major sponsors Logan City Council and Pizza Capers for helping us bring this event to fruition for people to enjoy.
Special thanks to VIP Dog Training for their much-loved show, and to Brisbane Commodore Car Club for coming along again to support.
We were able to support 4 Voices Global as our charity partner, and also donate our booking fees to Humanitix’ selected charities.
We look forward to seeing you at our next event in 2024 as organisers are taking a well-earned break.
Meanwhile, Stay Spicy everyone, and thanks again for your support.

OUR LOGAN-BASED CHARITY PARTNERS
4 VOICES GLOBAL
4 Voices is a charity with a mission to connect girls and women seeking change.
Building self-esteem in a supportive, non-judgmental environment is crucial to anyone experiencing, or at risk of experiencing, social isolation, domestic and family violence or homelessness. When we acknowledge that we matter, we feel good about ourselves, we can forge strong relationships, secure employment, develop self-reliance and have a better life. Help them buy a new outreach van here.
LIL BUG LOVE
Logan-based community organisation which supports children who find themselves caught up in domestic violence matters at Police stations in South-East Queensland. Volunteers help create the contents of the Comfort Kits which are then distributed to as many Police stations as possible. Cindy Barden and her daughter Phoebe are committed to easing the trauma of domestic violence and need your help to allow them to keep their important work going. You can donate here.

Sponsors
We love to have all sorts of people involved in our festivals as sponsors – big or small – in-kind or cash. Here’s our CCO (that’s Chief Chilli Officer) Scarlett Habanero to tell you about why your business might be a good fit for our festivals.
LOGAN CITY COUNCIL
We gratefully acknowledge the generous support of the Logan City Council for our festival in its fourth year. Without this important financial support, cash-strapped festival organisers are hard-pressed to recover from the devastation of events during Covid-19 pandemic.
We acknowledge also the commitment of Logan City Council to providing vibrant events to its constituents both through its own Events team and organisations such as My Chilli Festival, whom they have so generously supported in 2022.
PIZZA CAPERS
A big thank you to our major sponsor in 2022, Pizza Capers, who provided loads of pizza vouchers to give away on the day so you can try Pizza Capers’ INFERNO range!
McDonald’s Australia has kindly donated lots of vouchers for the McSpicy Burger and provided a bunch of their beautiful red marquees for patron comfort.
Find out more about the McSpicy!
AUSTCHILLI
A special thank you to Australia’s biggest chilli producer Austchilli Group for their provision of chilli fruit for our festival needs.
