SYDNEY CHEERING FOR THE SUPERHOT IN MAY!
Sydney will be sizzling on 18th May 2025 as Sydney Superhot Chilli & BBQ Festival takes place at the Market Canopy, Entertainment Quarter, Moore Park.
“After 10 successful chilli festivals in Queensland, I decided Sydney deserved a well-run event suitable for the whole family at a venue known for its high quality,” said Ms Habanero.
“It’s been decades since Sydney city saw a proper chilli festival,” she said.
“Scarlett’s events in Queensland are well-known for being fun, earthy, inclusive and entertaining and the Scoville Slayer is excited to be working with her down here in Sydney,” said food vlogger and influences, Matty Scoville.
Expect four fiery chilli challenges on centre stage, some red-hot musical offerings from arguably one of world’s best Satriani Tribute artists, guest chefs, community dance performances, chilli dog parade, costume comps and of course the chance to taste hundreds of locally-produced chilli products all in one place.
Special guests include Sydney Uni Cheer who not only will be performing, but creating some special cheers to spur on the brave chilli challengers on stage throughout the day.
“We’re super excited to be part of this community event, and Scarlett has been so welcoming of us,” said media spokesperson, Ellen.
“We have prizemoney, chilli goodies, trophies and of course the sheer glory of conquering the capsaicin,” said Ms Habanero.
“My events are geared for the whole family so they can while away the hours in a safe, welcoming environment, and we cater for children with activities, paid and free, and we are dog-friendly” said Ms Habanero.
