Chilli-heads can barely contain their excitement as the date is announced for the first ever celebration of chilli in Sydney.

The Sydney Superhot Chillli Fest  will be heating up the new Entertainment Quarter at Moore Park on Saturday 12th March, 2023.

“It’s been a dream of mine to bring a chilli festival so Sydney, so I’m very excited to be working with the great team at the Entertainment Quarter, who have been so supportive of bringing this fun event to Sydney,” said organiser, Scarlett Habanero.

The venue is an event-organiser’s dream with everything you could ask for, a professional team led by Paul Kittelty at EQ, and a location so conveniently placed for both public and private transport access.

No matter what the weather, the undercover Market Canopy precinct means the event can proceed uninterrupted.

The CCO – that’s Chief Chilli Officer – of My Chilli Festival can boast five chilli festivals to her name, as she single-handedly organises fiery family fun at different locations in Australia.

Brisbane, Logan, and Ipswich have all hosted several festivals since 2018.

“I’m so pleased to have a wonderful venue such at EQ for my inaugural event.  I feel confident that this event will become a Sydney favourite and we are excited that EQ will the home of the Sydney Superhot Chilli Fest for years to come, “said Habanero.
